Eligibility
The Amgen Scholars Canada Program is open to current second, third, or non-graduating fourth-year undergraduate students enrolled at an accredited Canadian university. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) and an interest in pursuing an M.Sc., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. The program encourages applications from students who identify as part of a historically marginalized group or face barriers to accessing research opportunities. While prior research experience is not required, basic laboratory experience, such as an undergraduate lab course, is considered an asset.
